Father’s Day Inspiration

I don’t know about you, but shopping for a Father’s Day gift can be somewhat of a challenge for me.

The dads in my family never seem to ask for much and that can sometimes be hard when trying to find a gift.

I can always give the classics like a tie, a garden tool, or an iTunes gift card.  But this year I want to give a more unexpected gift that they really wouldn’t buy themselves.

In my quest to find some creative gift ideas,  I’ve put together a list of suggestions that I think will help turn your father’s Father’s Day into more than just another day.

Club W

Club W is the best way to get acquainted with cool quality wines.  Based on a palate profile test completed at sign-up, the Club makes personal recommendations that are  home-delivered for tasting.

Jawbone UP

UP® is a system that takes a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. The wristband tracks your movement and sleep in the background. The app displays your data, lets you add things like meals and mood, and delivers insights that keep you moving forward.

“Smokin” Recipes

From the time he was old enough to stoke a pit, Mixon learned the art of barbecue at his father’s side. He grew up to expand his parent’s sauce business, Jack’s Old South, and in the process became the leader in competitive barbecue. After three world championships and more than 180 grand championships, he is now the breakout star of TLC’s BBQ Pitmasters.

Barons Baseball Tickets

The Barons take on the Montgomery Biscuits at 3:00 Sunday. What better way to honor your dad than to spend time together as a family at the ballpark?

Backup Iphone Battery

Ever since Spring Break 2013, this accessory has become one we’re addicted to in our family.  This backup battery goes everywhere, and it’s a great way to recharge on the go.

I hope these ideas help you find the perfect gift for your father.

Have a great day, everyone!
