I came upon this outfit as I was doing a little online shopping and while I love the outfit, I love the colors for an interior even more.

Lilac, pink, and gray are big colors right now and I think this color palette would be beautiful in a bedroom. I love how peaceful and serene these colors read together, but the pop of color can really make a room come alive.
What colors are you into these days? I would love to hear from you.
The leaves are beginning to fall, the air is cooling off, and the days are getting shorter. Football is in full swing and pumpkins are showing up everywhere.
This only means one thing… Fall is here!
As a way to celebrate the beginning of this new season, I wanted to share a few of my fall favorites from Pinterest. As mentioned in my last post, Pinterest is my go-to for all things inspiration.

I love the rustic elegance of this room. The ambiance of the room makes me want to wrap up in the blanket pictured above and enjoy a nice glass of red wine. Image by Cindy Smith and Patrick Lewis
Can you believe these adorable cups are edible? I am sure this is a project my girls will love! Image from Oh, Nuts!

Even though I am sad to see the summer sun slip away, autumn is an incredible time of year and I am looking forward to enjoying all that it has to offer.
After a quick trip to New York last week, I was quickly reminded how the realm of interior design is heavily influenced by the fashion industry. Store after store was filled with clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories in this year’s trends of black and white and of animal print. If you open the latest shelter magazine, you are sure to see them popping up there, too.

I also noticed lots of leather detailing on clothing, and it makes me wonder if we are going to start to see more of this on accessories, pillows, etc… for the home.
What do you think? Do you see what you are wearing as the next possible trend for your home (hope you are not in your t-shirt and shorts- ha!)? Not sure about you, but these pictures are making me want to add an occasional chair out of leopard to my own home decor.
