Living Well

Feature in Birmingham Home And Garden Magazine

I am excited to share with you a project of ours in the January/February issue of Birmingham Home and Garden that just hit the newsstands.

The home was built appr 12-13 years ago, and the homeowners hadn’t changed the interiors since then.   They contacted us to update the furnishings throughout the entire home.

I loved working with this close knit family of seven as it was obvious from day one they had an open door policy to family and friends, and they wanted to utilize every square inch of their spacious home.

The views from the house are beautiful as it sits on a serene piece of property on the lake.   The interiors were ornate, formal, and dark, so lightening up and making a few rooms more welcoming were also goals discussed.   We reworked several rooms to work differently for the family, and I think it resulted in a more beautiful, functional home for them.

While I am going to let you buy your copy to see the transformation, I will share a couple of photos with you.

Check back as I will share more of the “before” pictures and my thoughts on how I approached each of the rooms in this home.  Let me know what you think of the article when you pick up your copy.

Have a great day, everyone-

Dana
