Gone to the Dogs

Dogs are part of the family, and we are honored to say they love our interiors….

Some pets make a photo that much better.

While others like to sneak into a photo shoot.

And well, what can I say?  Some easily claim a favorite spot for their very own. Isn’t Murphy the sweetest?

Where is your pet’s favorite spot to perch, or is he even allowed on the furniture? Obviously I am okay with it, because, after all, they are part of the family.

Hope everyone is having a great day-

I have been searching for decor ideas for my home and found this on another website.

WHERE IN THE WORLD did you find this painting? I want it! Your taste is impeccable. And everything on your blog is how I wish my home could look but I could never describe. You are AMAZING!

Thank you so much, Jill, for the very nice comment. You sure know how to make a girl feel good! This painting is by Arthur Price, and he is one of my favorite artists out there. Google him and see what comes up-

Hi Jill, I apologize for the delayed response as I somehow missed your comment. The artwork is by Arthur Price, an amazing artist in Birmingham, AL. Google him and see what comes up as his work is incredible. Dana

love your blog–love the style, the sensibility and the beauty found in your design! in our home–the pups have custom dog beds, which they typically abandon for the preferred custom upholstery–or better yet, one of our laps!

Yes my lil dog has full reign of the house & furniture. Her favorite spot is stuffed between the cushions on the sofa or under the dining room table- because you know thats where the goodies fall.

Love this! Our yellow lab is not allowed on the furniture, so she leans on it as if it is supporting her stand.

  5. My Dolly and Quincy(Boston Terriers) would be just like the sneaks in to the shoot puppy!

In fact, I had someone comment the other day about a photo that’s of our showroom on foursquare… “Did you know that there’s a dog in the picture?”

    Great photos, Dana!
